Rather than standard aluminum, Nambé utilized a proprietary eight-metal aluminum-based alloy. It contains no silver, lead, or pewter, yet it polishes to a beautiful, sterling-like luster.
Retains temperature exceptionally well. Can be placed in the freezer to keep chilled foods cold, or heated safely in the oven to keep hot appetizers warm for serving.
Hand wash only. The heat and harsh detergents will permanently dull the metal and ruin the finish. Wash with mild soap and dry immediately.
If desired, luster can be fully restored using a specialty polish like Nambé Polish or a high-quality metal cream.
